What is an RSS newsfeed?

The abbreviation RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" – a platform-independent data format, based on XML, for the exchange of web contents.

RSS Feed gives you the possibility of automatically retrieving new information from a website without having to address to it directly. The information can be read by means of an "RSS Reader" - which can mostly be downloaded as freeware from the Internet.

After loading the desired Reader you can subscribe to it by inserting the URL of the desired Feed accordingly in the RSS Reader.

And this is how it works:

  • Click on the desired Feed, using the right mouse button
  • Click on "Copy Shortcut" (this is where the address of the Feed (URL) is copied)
  • Insert the URL in the Reader in the mask for inserting the new Feed.
