By car

From motorway A643 (connecting motorway between the A60 and A66) take the exit Mainz-Gonsenheim, follow the slip road and turn right at the end (following the signs to the "Bundesnetzagentur für Elektrizität, Gas, Telekommunikation, Post und Eisenbahnen") towards Mainz-Gonsenheim. At the third set of traffic lights (pedestrian crossing) turn left into Canisiusstrasse. Turn left into the car park after the main entrance for pedestrians, visitor parking is immediately to the left behind the barrier.

By train

Directly in front of Mainz central station take tram* no. 50 (towards Finthen/Römerquelle) or tram* no. 51 (towards Finthen/Poststrasse) to tram stop "Elbestrasse" (journey time about 12 minutes). Take the first street on your right, Werrastrasse, and follow it to the end, turn left into Canisiusstrasse (total distance about 300m). The Bundesnetzagentur is on your right.

*If required, tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine at the tram stop or from the driver.

By plane

From the S-Bahn station (metropolitan railway) in Terminal 1 (lowest level) at Frankfurt/Main airport take line S8 direction Wiesbaden to Mainz central station (Mainz Hauptbahnhof). Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines; pre-purchased tickets must be validated in the ticket validator (Entwerter) before starting the journey. Journey time to Mainz central station is about 30 minutes. See "By train" for onward directions.
