Bundesnetzagentur appoints CEO at Gazprom Germania

The Bundesnetzagentur, acting as fiduciary as Gazprom Germania, has today appointed Dr Egbert Laege as the new chief executive officer. As fiduciary representative with full directorial powers, he has so far supported Gazprom Germania's management to stabilise the company and its subsidiaries.

Egbert Laege is an acknowledged expert in the energy sector and former member of the executive board at the European Energy Exchange AG (EEX). Prior to that, he was on the executive board of E.ON Ruhrgas and worked at E.ON Global Commodities.

The previous CEO of Gazprom Germania, Igor Fedorov, has stepped down by amicable and mutual agreement to devote himself to new professional challenges.
